I have lived in Tacoma, WA for nearly two decades and love calling the Pacific Northwest home.  I attended Pacific Lutheran University as an undergraduate and went on to get my Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in California.  I recently received my Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Spirituality Center at St. Placid Priory in Lacey, WA.   I have been volunteering in my church and other faith-based ministries for the past 17 years while raising my kids.  I am passionate about women’s ministry, youth ministry and small group ministry.  I am also a firm advocate of mental health counseling and the benefits to those who suffer from mental health, relational and personal issues, which includes myself. 

 

I have been married to Mark for 25 years and we have three boys, ages 16, 14 and 11, plus an adorable Golden-Doodle mini.  I love to travel, watch our kids’ sporting events, cheer on the Mariners and Seahawks, play golf and tennis, read, and eat great food!
